Electronics Unit

PURPOSE: This section of the "Introduction to Industry" program will introduce the student to a variety of basic skills needed for employment and/or continued education in the various electrical and electronic occupations. Units of study will consist of the following:

• Basic electrical/electronic theory
• Safety practices
• Component identification
• Soldering
• Use of test equipment
• DC circuits
• AC circuits
• Construction of an electronic project
• Digital electronics
